COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

At SHERE FINE WOODWORKS each box is  crafted from solid hardwood. We never use thin veneers.

Every piece of hardwood is hand picked for it's  unique grain characteristic. Than the wood is hand worked to showcase the woods beauty.

The corner  joints  are miter cut  and assembled to ensure the grain of the wood flows around the corner  in a continuing pattern. 

After the wood has been hand worked to a ultra smooth finish we apply 5 coats of TUNG OIL. (TUNG OIL is extracted from a tree nut from a tung tree found in China). Each coat of oil takes 12 hours to cure. After the oil cures, it is hand rubbed with fine steel wool before the next coat is applied. The oil is absorbed into the wood until it reaches a beautiful shine that brings out the beauty of the wood.
